Tips:

• New users should start by clicking the ‘Try a Question’ button and test driving a few of the sample questions, which should give you a taste of the kinds of things this system is good at answering.
• In most cases, leave the search selector to ‘Automatic’ as the system will choose which document source to search against. You can override it and select differently and try again.
• Sometimes phrasing is the key. Avoid imprecise language or colloquial abbreviations (eg ‘reg’ for ‘regulations’).
• The greatest strength of this system is its knowledge of the elected chamber with meeting documents going back to 1981. Ask it about decisions made and it shines; voting and attendance detail is strongest from 2007 onward.
• If the system is slow, be patient. It's hosted on a small and cheap tier we want to upgrade. Some responses can take a minute.
